The Doors of Assisi

This, my dear, faithful blog followers, is a photographic study of the doors (yes, I said doors) of Assisi. I have shown you many wonderful sights on our journeys throughout Europe, to give you an idea what it is like, but you don't really get to see the beautiful architecture up close. This is just one way to show you the interesting things we see here. And it's really cool to think about who the people might be who live behind these doors. Walking through the streets of town, I began to notice just how beautiful and unique each door was, so I started shooting, not knowing that I took exactly 50 door shots. You might think I've fallen off my rocker, but it was meant to be! Here they all are -- some similar, many very different -- all with their own charm and character. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to try to pick your favorite! Enjoy!
